Granite is a natural stone material. It is 100 percent natural with no synthetic or man-made glues or binders. Because it is a natural stone, it will vary in appearance no matter where it is mined.
Heat Resistant:
Another benefit to granite countertops is their heat resistance. Granite is naturally formed by pressure and heat which means that granite countertops resist heat well. You can even put a hot pot or pan on the surface of your granite countertops without scorching it, though we recommend using pot holders.
Stain Resistant:
In addition to heat resistance, granite countertops are stain resistant with a properly applied sealant. Granite is a porous material and can be stained by alkalines and acids. However, with a proper sealant applied annually, your granite countertops will maintain stain resistance. Keep in mind that any liquid and food spills should still be removed immediately with water and a mild detergent (such as a natural cleaner or a small amount of soap). If spills dry on the counter top, you should be able to gently scrape them off using a plastic scraper. When you have granite countertops installed, ask the installation expert about the type of sealant to apply every year.
Unique:
Each piece of granite is unique, so you can be sure that no one will have the same countertops as you do. If you want a one of a kind, natural surface in your kitchen. There are many different types of granite depending on which granite slab would work best for your granite kitchen countertops. Granite is a popular choice and the natural pattern of sealed granite countertops will set your kitchen above and beyond!
Quartz countertops, also called engineered stone countertops, are man-made products. They are made of 93% to 95% ground-up natural quartz stone and a small number of other minerals and colorants. The rest is a durable resin that holds it all together.

Porcelain is made from fine clay and a mineral called kaolinite. Feldspar, silica, and mineral oxides often come naturally in the clay, improving strength and color. This mix of clay and minerals is heated at incredibly high temperatures. Porcelain is very dense and non-porous. This is what gives porcelain its water- and bacteria-resistances. Porcelain also resists staining, which is crucial for a countertop.
Strength: Porcelain is 30% stronger than granite. Porcelain countertops are dense, and because of this, they can have greater strength than other popular materials, even without being as thick. Porcelain countertops better resist chipping, cracking, scratching, and general wear.
Exterior Use: Porcelain is also rated for exterior use. This gives it a huge advantage if you have areas on your porch or patio that are more exposed to heat, humidity, or even wind and rain.
Durability: It lasts an extremely long time, which makes it very worth the investment.
Range of Looks: Porcelain slab for countertops is also very visually flexible. Porcelain can be made to emulate other surfaces very accurately.
Ease of Cleaning: Porcelain is arguably the easiest material to clean and maintain, making kitchen cleaning chores much faster and more efficient.
Ideally, good materials in your home or business aren’t just stronger and more durable. They also make your life easier. Porcelain slab for countertops checks all those boxes, making it an ideal choice that’s often even more affordable than stone.
